asked in Technical problem by

Hello,

I have finally gotten around to putting the waterblock I purchased from Bitspower (BP-VG3080AST) onto the ASUS Strix 3080 and there is quite a few inconsistencies with the product. Can you please look into this?

In the box I received (reference Google Drive photos):

(Qty 1) -- 0.68mm Thermal Pad
(Qty 5) -- 1.01mm Thermal Pad
(Qty 5) -- 2.55mm Thermal Pad

According to BitsPower literature (https://bitspower.com/download_installation_guide_file.php?product_id=7879) I should have received the following:

(Qty 5) -- 1.0mm Thermal Pad
(Qty 2) -- 2.0mm Thermal Pad
(Qty 4) -- 2.5mm Thermal Pad

I've checked many times and the three sizes are easily distinguished by the naked eye. Are the pad manufacturing thicknesses tolerances THIS bad? They are so off I'm not sure what to apply where.

Did BitsPower do a rev change or did ASUS or both? The PCB in the literature does not match the PCB that I have in front of me. See Google Drive photo and refer to installation manual.

Thank you,

Dear Scott,

From the PCB photo, it seems that the card itself has changed.
Please send us the label photo of this water block. And the receipt to follows email address, we will check and reply to you.
