Can I use this digital flow meter with acrylic OD 16mm tubing with out issues of restricted flow?

Yes, you can use the digital flow meter with acrylic OD 16mm tubing and fitting.
According to the installation guide, there is a limitation of water inlet, but no issues of restricted flow, so what's restricted flow mean?
