asked in Technical problem by
I bought two bitspower tochaqua notos rgb fans and I am new to the PC world. The fans work fine but not RGB is present. When buying the fans I assumed the fans would be controlled through a device or simply automatic. That was not the case. I cannot find a lot of info on these fans. Most stuff I find mentions a controller, which i dont have. how can i get these to light up? Do I need the controller? Nothing came with the fans so I am confused.

Dear Customer,

You can connect the DRGB led of your fan directly to your motherboard if it has 3 pin and 5v slot, and control the RGB by the LED software. Follow link shows the difference between DRGB & RGB LED.

When you buy the 3 pcs per pack kit BPTA-FX1812NT-3, it comes with the DRGB controller BPTA-DRGBMFC, and you can use this to control the light too.
Or you can buy this controller single.
Any question, feel free to contact us.
